Marbella East

Marbella East is popular for its beautiful sandy beaches, protected dunes, Golf Courses, green surroundings and spacious communities where properties have a more open and uninterrupted view than some other overcrowded areas in Marbella. There is a large number of Scandinavian residents, as well as German and Dutch residents. It is lively both in summer and during the winter months, with a good choice of cafés, restaurants and chiringuitos.

Los Monteros

Los Monteros and Marbella East is popular for its beautiful sandy beaches, protected dunes, Golf Courses, green surroundings and spacious communities where properties have a more open and uninterrupted view than some other overcrowded areas in Marbella.

Elviria

Elviria is an area about 15 minutes east of Marbella’s city centre, which is very popular amongst Scandinavians. It offers residents all kinds of services, amenities and entertainment facilities. Being a coastal urbanisation, many homes are within walking distance to the beach. Also close by are the Santa María and Santa Clara golf courses and el Casco Tennis Club. Cabopino port offers nearby moorage to Elviria residents with Malaga’s international airport only 50 kilometres away. Health services are also nearby in the form of one of Malaga’s most prestigious hospitals, Hospital Costa del Sol. Also on site is the English International School serving primary and secondary students.

Calahonda

Calahonda is situated between Marbella and Fuengirola. In fact, it is actually part of La Cala de Mijas, in Mijas municipality. Calahonda is a quiet and peaceful area along the cost, but it is also known for its beautiful beaches and charming chirenguitos.
This is a great area if you would like to spend your days in less crowded area, but still a short car ride away from Marbella town.

This area is also very popular for a lot of Norwegians as you will both find the Norwegian School and the Norwegian Church here.
