Costadelvilla is a Swedish – Spanish property developer team and advisor for quality homes in prime locations in Marbella on the Nueva Andalucia, Golden Mile, La Quinta and Estepona. 

We are the first ever fully digital brokerage service for finding the most luxury homes and the best profitable investment for our clients and partners.

Costadelvilla are partners with a few local and very serious well known agencies on the market also providing legal services.

Who We Are

Since we are two founders of Costadelvilla, we have two different stories. For one of us (the Swede), the story begins in the early 2000s when I visited Marbella for the first time and knew immediately that this is the place I want to live and dreamed of a dream house!

For the other of us (the Spaniard), the story begins already from childhood with roots from Fuengirola with a Spanish father and Swedish mother. This makes him very familiar with area of Marbella and the city’s culture, history and architecture.

Both of us are serial entrepreneurs with several years of experience in real estate, sales, marketing and entrepreneurship. And now, we’re making another new story together.

When considering to buy a property in Spain, you should think and know a few things

Be smart and work ”digital”
You don’t always have to visit the property you’re interested in, at least not initially. It is excellent get an idea of ​​different homes online. Then when you’ve found the option you’re looking for contact us for further information on your request.
Spanish property tax
The property tax for non-resident in Spain is between 0.405% percent to 1.166% of the property’s cadastral value depending on the province. Costadelvilla provide you legal services through Lawyer.
Reservation fee for the property
Negotiable (commonly around 10.000 €)

Down payment is 10% of purchase price

Time of Completion
Usually 6-8 weeks
Obtain NIE number
In order to be able to complete a home in Spain, you need to have a ”NIE number” which is a personal tax identification number. Costadelvilla will help you to obtain it.
Other taxes and fees
You have to calculate another 11-13 percent to be added on your purchase price. Figures associated with various taxes, fees, VAT.
Duty to inspection of the Property
You are responsible for hiring an expert to inspect your new house before purchase.  It’s important to check the company (developer/builder) really has the license and bank guarantees / insurance for the construction. Costadelvilla will help you with the matter.
Title deed and taking over the keys
The Title deed will be signed at the Notary (notarius publicus) and in same time you’ll get your keys.
